Meet Heather
I believe it’s never too late to change the path you’re on, which is why I decided to go back to university in my 40’s to earn a Master of Social Work degree. After achieving my goal, I spent some time working as a Mental Health Worker in a family health team, and also spent many years volunteering on both a Distress Phone Line in Ontario, and a national Crisis Text Line with Kids Help Phone. My innate belief in the strength and resilience of all people always guides me as I support clients who are dealing with a variety of challenges. I am grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their life stories over the years.
In 2018, I chose to further develop my skills by becoming certified as a professional coach through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I decided to transition from social work to the coaching field, since I enjoyed the energy of coaching and felt many people would benefit from this type of support.
When I’m not coaching people, I’m spending time with my husband Mike, our boys, Scott and David, our extended family, friends, and our dog Gracie. I love to read, meditate, cook and spend time in nature.
